After leaving the military I attended the University of Missouri at Rolla from 1980-1985 where I earned a BS in Electrical Engineering.  I joined an off-campus fraternity (Pi Kappa Phi - Gamma Lambda chapter) where I held numerous offices including Archeon (equivalent to President).

I married shortly after graduating college, and took a job on the East coast as a member of the military-industrial complex which was burgeoning under the helm of Reagenomics.  As the defense industry began to shrink in the late '80s, the company I work for merged, was divested and merged, and merged again.  Throughout all this turmoil my job remained unchanged, only my business cards changed.
